The Veridion system is being shaped by forces that no faction or corporation fully understands or controls. These phenomena are reshaping the balance of power.
The Three Unknowns¶

- All Phenomena → Whisper: Every operation Whisper runs connects to the Flicker, suggesting obsession or knowledge
Intelligence Picture¶
Each faction/corporation knows different aspects:
- Guild: Knows Flicker destroys implants; suppressing the information; Syndra preparing for disclosure
- Alliance: Knows they're immune; keeping it secret as strategic advantage
- Synths: Experiencing the Devotion; uncertain if it's malfunction or awakening
- Praxis: Terrified of Devotion effect threatening product credibility; classifying as malfunction
- Vanguard: Using Azimuth discovery to justify transformation; less interested in Flicker
- Fabric: Aggregating all available intelligence; objective unknown
